 Assembly

Step 1

Wash and press fabrics. Cut the patches listed in the materials and cutting box and shown in the rotary cutting diagrams.

Note that each block is made with 5 different scraps. For each block, choose a pleasing variety of prints in light, medium, and dark values. Sprinkle a few solids into the mix for interest.

Step 2

Referring to the block piecing diagram, make 18 blocks. Click here for tips on making Kaleidoscope blocks.

Step 3

Referring to the partial quilt assembly diagram, join the blocks and patches as shown to make each diagonal row. Sew the rows together.
