Step 4

Matching centers and starting and stopping 1/4" from each corner, sew the long borders to the sides of the quilt. In the same way, add the shorter borders to the top and bottom. Miter the corners, trim the extra, and press the seam allowances open.

Step 5

Referring to the partial quilting diagram, mark the Arrow & Cable quilting in the F patches and mark the Flower quilting in each G.

Step 6

Layer the quilt lining, batting, and top. Baste. Outline quilt the A-E patches. Quilt the marked motifs. Quilt as desired in the H and I patches and border. Bind the quilt to finish.
