Fine Feathered Flock

 Readers' Quilt Show

Bacon and Eggs, 46" x 55", by Judy Irish of New Milford, Connecticut. Judy says, "Finding fabric that looked like bacon was a bit of a challenge. Coincidentally, the quilt ended up with a dozen eggs." A casual comment by Judy's mother, who loves fried eggs ("Someone should make me a fried-egg quilt!"), was all the inspiration Judy needed to get started, since chickens are a favorite subject of hers. Perhaps that's where Judy gets her taste for chicken (quilts).
