Chicken Music, 42" x 47", by Laura Wasilowski of Elgin, Illinois. With a series of chicken quilts to her credit, Laura considers herself an expert in chicken anatomy. Visiting a farm that had chickens with polka-dots on their feathers began her fascination with the species and its possibilities for graphic design. "My husband suggests that I may be marching to the beat of a different drumstick," Laura comments.
