Praline Parfait
Made by Martha Cox
Shadings of lemon and nutmeg in a blown glass vase she saw were so pleasing to Ridgecrest, California, quiltmaker Martha Cox that she decided to combine the colors in a pieced scrap quilt she finished in 2004. The block she used is a variation of a traditional Ducks Foot in the Mud. Barbara Huthmacher provided the longarm quilting using motifs from Golden Threads by Keryn Emmerson.
This pattern appears in the January/February (#379) issue of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine. If that issue is no longer available at your local quilt store, check back issue availability and order online at www.villagequiltshoppe.com.
