Cultivating Flowers in Wintertime

 Violet Heart

Cut and prepare bias strips from two fabrics for the outline of the heart, then follow the full-size pattern to overlap and applique the bias to the background. Cut patches for the bow from the same fabrics.

The full flowers can be made with five separate petals, or you can cut the complete flower as one patch, and then embroider the gray lines.
