Match the center of a short border with the center of the quilt and pin. Stitch, beginning and ending the stitching
1/4" from the edges of the quilt. Repeat with the other short border and then add the long side borders. Miter corners and trim the excess.

Layer the quilt lining, batting, and top. Baste. Quilt in-the-ditch around the smallest patches. See Kathy's quilting designs (below) for the C's and the sashes. Bind the quilt to finish.
