Step 1

Wash and press fabrics using spray starch, if desired. Cut the patches listed in the materials and cutting box and shown in the rotary cutting diagrams. Cut the borders and binding strips from the black solid before cutting the E patches.

Step 2

Assemble 31 blocks as shown in the block piecing diagram. Use the quilt photograph as a guide for the color placement.
