After finishing several challenging quilt projects, Nancy Rink of Bakersfield, California, needed a break. "I dug out the charcoal and pale yellow fabrics that I had been collecting and began piecing Shoo-Fly blocks. The blocks just zipped together, and I soon had enough for two quilts."
