We invite reader letters and slides for this column. Part of the fun of any quilting bee is seeing the faces of the people who share their thoughts and quilts, so we encourage you to put yourself in the picture with your quilt. Please send submissions to:

Dear Editors,
Your magazine delights and thrills me. My collection of issues is read and reread, and it never fails to make me feel good. It is a joy to see the beautiful work being done around the world.
The Edmonton Public School Archives wanted to commemorate the new millennium, and Director Catherine Luck, who is my niece, suggested a quilt. It took her months to design the quilt and plan her course of action. Seven-inch squares were sent to 225 schools with instructions to finish the squares with complete freedom of artistic expression. Each one is unique and special. The Millennium Quilt is a lovely tribute to the children of the public schools.

Millennium Quilt, 168" x 62", designed by Catherine Luck and made by the students and staff of the Edmonton Public Schools.
Dear Editors,
Butterflies is made from 650 old silk ties and black cotton. The pattern is from the book The New England Quilt Museum Quilts by Jennifer Gilbert. It is all made by hand and took about a year and a half to complete.
Thank you for a good magazine. I use it very much.
