We invite reader letters and slides for this column. Part of the fun of any quilting bee is seeing the faces of the people who share their thoughts and quilts, so we encourage you to put yourself in the picture with your quilt. Please send submissions to:

Dear Editors,
I loved the pattern Hollyhocks Remembered in QNM issue 330. I make turbans and head scarves from cotton fabric for chemotherapy patients, and making quilts is a fun way to use the leftovers. I gathered all of my scraps, and only had to purchase the peach for the border and some yellows. I quilted it by hand, so this is one I won't ever part with.

Dear Editors,
My wife, Liesbeth, has been a subscriber to QNM for many years, which makes me too a regular reader. We are both Dutch, living in France. Liesbeth teaches quilting. I saw so many ladies producing nice quilts after a beginner's course that I wondered why a man should not try it as well.
Waterlilies, Maybe? is my first quilt. The inspiration for the colors came during a holiday in the Caribic, in Guadeloupe. The result is a quilt in flashing colors, not suitable in every room. At an exhibition, however, it draws attention. I had no title in mind, but so many ladies asked if I had intended to make waterlilies that I eventually gave the quilt the name it has now.
