One hundred-twenty-five cloth responses comprise the exhibition called America from the Heart: Quilters Remember September 11, 2001, on display from February 23 to March 30 at the Indiana University Kokomo Art Gallery. The quilts were first shown at the International Quilt Market and Festival in Houston, Texas, in the fall of 2001, and will continue to tour to selected venues. For more information about the Indiana showing, contact Minda Douglas, art gallery director at IUKAG, 2300 S. The Central Florida Fair will display 24 of the quilts from the American Quilter's Society's United We Quilt traveling exhibition as part of its Creative Arts Exhibit, February 27 to March 9 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, 2603 W. Colonial Dr., Orlando, FL 32804; 407-295-3247. The quilts represent the full range of reactions to the terrorist attacks of September 11th.
