With 394 entries, the jurors for the small-format art quilt exhibition Fine Focus 04 had a difficult time narrowing the field to a 50-quilt limit. The quilts were submitted by 174 artists from 11 countries.

Reconstruction I, 10" x 14", by Deidre C. Adams.

The jurors--Judy B. Dales, Jane Dunnewold, and Kim Ritter-selected the works they felt had the highest visual impact for this third biennial traveling exhibition. Shown here are just a few of their choices.

Out There, 15" x 15", by Robin Cowley.

The show debuted at the Mansfield Richland Library in Mansfield, Ohio, and will continue there through May 29. Venues for the show are still being added; watch the Calendar for additional sites. For more information on Fine Focus, visit the website www.finefocus.net.
