QNM Contest Winners
Announced at Houston

Well-known quilt and fabric designers Jinny Beyer and Lynette Jensen both had a voice in determining the winners of the contest "A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock 'n' Roll," sponsored by Quilter's Newsletter Magazine and RJR Fabrics.

The contest was centered around fabric collections by both designers, and entrants were asked to use selections from Jinny Beyers' Palette, Lynette Jensen's Paint Box Prints from Thimbleberries, or both.

Quilters were able to enter their quilts in any of five categories. Finalist quilts from the contest were hung in a special exhibit at the International Quilt Market and Festival/Houston.
