...Museum Offers Look at Native American Quilts...


Through April 23, visitors to the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indiana will find nearly 20 traditional and contemporary quilts in the exhibit "Great Lakes Native Quilting." The display in the facility in downtown Indianapolis in the White River State Park also includes photographs of quilters and their quilting activities, biographical sketches of the contemporary quilters, and four contextual settings that visually demonstrate the uses of quilts within the Great Lakes Native communities. ...Show Highlights Machine Quilting...


The South Towne Exposition Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, is the location for the 2006 Home Machine Quilting Show, April 6-8.
