Five Judges

Five judges for the National Quilting Association concurred and awarded Master Quilt status to two entries at the group's 37th Annual Quilt Show in Columbus, Ohio, in June. The two quilts also garnered top honors at the show with Coeur de Vigne (detail shown below), 76" x 88", 2004, by Diane Leclair of San Antonio, Texas, winning best of show in the bed quilt category, and Nocturnal Garden by Ted Storm of 's-Gravenzande, Netherlands, receiving best of show in the wall quilt division. Ted's quilt was shown in "Photo Finish" in the July/August 2002 issue (344) of QNM. The Master Quilt award is presented only to quilts that demonstrate the highest ideals of workmanship and design. nqaquilts.org
