Mancuso Show Management
Continues to Impress

Mancuso Show Management brought some of the world's best quilts together in Manchester, New Hampshire, last August for the 2006 World Quilt Competition. Best of country awards were given to quilters from 11 countries.

Yoshiko Miyamoto of Kanagawa, Japan, won best of world with Cool Down: Bandokoro Falls (below, top), and Linda M. Roy of Farragut, Tennessee, won the Janome Honorable Mention for Wrought Iron Roses (below, center).

QNM is the founding sponsor of the show; other major sponsors were Janome, Baby Lock, and Husqvarna Viking.

In September, Mancuso presented the thirteenth annual Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza, one of the East Coast's largest textile arts events. Michael Kashey of Edinboro, Pennsylvania, won an award for best hand workmanship for Lucky Thirteen (below, bottom).

Both shows will return in 2007. For more information, visit quiltfest.com.
