Pumpkin Seed Quilting Motif
for Farmer's Daughter
The traditional Pumpkin Seed quilting motif is often found on Amish quilts. The version given here is sized to fit the Farmer's Daughter's 9 1/2" sashes. For the shorter green print borders, repeat the motif three times and add a partial motif, adjusting as necessary, to fill the space. Do the same for the longer green borders, repeating the motif four times. The design is suitable for either hand or machine quilting.
