Peace Baskets

QNM's January 1989 issue showcased Julia Spidell's Peace Baskets, a quilt that was part of a 1988 presidential visit to the Soviet Union. Peace Baskets was also part of the inspiration for Minnie's Picnic, a nostalgic charmer in QNM's June 2006 issue made by Penelope Tucker.
