Quilt Size: 90" x 90" for double/queen comforter.
Block Size: 12".
Yardage (44" fabric) and Cutting:
From 7 1/4 yards white cut:
2 border strips 11 1/2"x 90 1/2",
2 border strips 11 1/2" x 68 1/2"
9 A, 28 B (see B diagram for information about grain lines)
4 C, 96 D, 16 E, 16 Er, and 16 G.
(Border measurements are the exact length needed plus seam allowances.)
From 2 1/8" yards green print cut:
Bias stripping 1 1/4" x 25 1/2 yards, prepared as described in assembly directions (piece as necessary to make 4 strips for borders that are 3 yards long and 84 pieces for stems that are 5 3/4" long)
264 I, 20 K, and 20 M
From 3/4 yard red print cut:
48 H, 20 J, and 20 L
From 1 3/4 yards tan print cut:
binding 1 1/2"x 10 1/2 yards
144 D, and 16 F
Also needed are 8 yards lining and 94" x 94" batting.
