Nested Hearts
In our July/August issue (384), Ann Fahl presented her color-blending technique in "Quiltmaker's Workshop." If you'd like to use her hearts, the patterns for them are presented here.
Download and print the PDF file or print and trace each heart pattern shown below on the paper side of fusible webbing. Cut out the hearts about 1/4" beyond the marked lines. Using a medium-hot iron, press the paper patterns to the wrong side of your scraps. Cut out the patches on the marked lines. The hearts are now ready for applique.
