The four-part series quilt, A Few Compasses Between Friends, was made by Gerry Sweem and Susan Rossi. Part one appears in the November 2003 (#357) issue of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine. Part two of the series appears in the December 2003 (#358) issue of QNM, and includes directions for making the pieced stars and leaf appliques.
