Simply Applique
Simplicity Block Pattern
Judy Lilly calls her technique Simply Applique because lots of preliminary patch preparation is not required. Instead of spending time making templates and starching or gluing or pressing, you're stitching! Details are in the step-by-step Quiltmaker's Workshop in the May 2004 (#362) issue of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine. Our block pattern, Simplicity, is given here, but the time-saving method will work just as well for more elaborate patterns.
